WILD SUCCULENT // BLUFF ABOVE THE SEA // SPRINGTIME LIGHT OF LATE AFTERNOON

Observing a succulent in the wild, in a harsh environment such as the one I found these, reminds us that there are always solutions, regardless of how rugged the conditions. I mean this as a metaphor, but also, for your garden. The plants pictured here live on the edge of a cliff high above the sea. All summer the sun can be quite bright and it doesn’t rain. The winter has harsh, cold salt winds, and heavy rain.
